Year 5 Tag Rugby 21/10/2016

Today the Year 5 children went to the Bradley Development Centre with a range of other schools to compete in a Tag Rugby Festival put on by Gravity Red. The children spent the first hour of the session warming up and practising basic tag rugby skills needed for the competitions. The children were then split up into different teams so that they mixed with children from other schools and took part in some mini tag rugby competitions. The children really enjoyed themselves and it was a great way to end the half term!

Tag Rugby 15/02/2017

Today the children from Year 4 and 5 were invited to a Tag Rugby Festival put on by Cleethorpes Rugby club in partnership with the SSP. The children went to the event that was held at the King George Playing Fields where they were greeted by other schools such as Scartho, East Ravendale and Reynolds. The children then took part in some fun Tag Rugby Games against each of the schools in order to win a cup at the end. The A and B team both tried their very hardest with a total of 7 games being won between them and 2 draws. The A team were very close to going to the finals against Scartho but were just beaten by Reynolds. The children really enjoyed themselves and 3 were even given letters to go along to a Rugby try out free trial on Sunday! Well done guys, we’re very proud of you!
