CAFOD Assembly

On Tuesday 7th March, the whole school went into the hall to listen to a volunteer from CAFOD to explain about fundraising for this Lent. Maria, the CAFOD volunteer, spoke to the children about turning little fish into BIG FISH and about supporting people in Zambia, so they are able to set up their fish farms. This will enable them to support their families and pay for their children to go to school. It only costs £4 to buy a bucket of fish to set up a family. In our first week, we raised £80.00, meaning we have already raised enough money to buy 20 buckets of fish. That is truly amazing Saint Mary’s
